Appearance & construction:
1/8/16: This is an odd looking pen when capped. The cap looks much too big for the short body. However, when posted, it looks a bit better. Still, the cap looms large even when posted. It writes beautifully, without hesitation, smoothly. Adds a flair to your writing. I ordered the medium nib, which is wetter than I expected. I’d like to see what the fine can do. The clip is attractive, but it, too, seems slightly out of place. The overall effect is odd, but it’s growing on me.
Note 1: “To replace the nib of a Kaweco Calligraphy, Classic Sport, Ice Sport, or Skyline Sport, use your fingertips to grip the top of the old nib and the feed of your pen and pull them straight out from the grip section of the pen. Then, pull the replacement nib and feed out of the plastic collar and insert them into the pen’s grip section. Do not grip the nib by its sides, as this can damage the nib” (JetPens).
