2/3/16: This pen arrived exactly one month after I ordered it. It’s a Chinese pen sold by Lokoenjopon, in India. The outer envelope was badly beaten-up around the edges but the pen, wound in bubble wrap, was fine. Out of the box, I filled the converter with Diamine Eclipse, and it started immediately on contact with paper. The nib already on the pen is fine. The additional nib-feed-section is EF. It suits my taste — a thin yet wet line. It didn’t skip, and it wasn’t scratchy. The flow was even and consistent. It’s an attractive pen with a screw-on cap, a feature that I prefer. I hesitate to post it since there’s nothing in the barrel or inner cap design to prevent scratching the barrel. Posting isn’t necessary since the pen fits my hand, which is average in size. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this pen to anyone looking for a good-looking demonstrator that works fine.
2/4/16: This pen’s section interface isn’t compatible with converters from my other Chinese pens. However, it seems to be compatible with the Pilot Prera Iro-Ai converter. The fit seems to be perfect.
2/22/16: The F nib had become very scratchy. It didn’t seem to be an alignment problem. I ran it over brown grocery bag paper (as I did with Waterman Kultur) but that didn’t work. I then tried the same on the oil stone, and that did the trick. Scratchiness is all but gone.
